Have a Happy Thanksgiving

Dear Family,
Thanks for taking care of the PIN number problem. I just now need to remember that it has been changed to the new one. Hopefully, I will be able to be better with this one.
This last week has been very interesting for us as well. I actually have a confession to make. I have been sick for about a week now, and we're not exactly sure what it is. It feels as if my Ulcer is acting up on me again. At the beginning, I called Sis. Corey and she suggested that I go on the B.R.A.T diet. I have tried that and it took the problems away, but yesterday when I tried to eat something else again, the problems came back. I called Sis. Corey again this morning, and she is looking into getting me into a G.I. Specialist. I just thought that you guys would like to know what is going on around here. Don't worry about it though. I am able to eat specific foods, so I won't starve, and we are trying to take care of it.
So, it sounds as if you have been having a fun week. I think that the holidays are when we miss home the most, but it hasn't really hit me yet. I am just glad that I have been gone for almost a year now, so I am very used to being away. It will help out a lot. I know exactly what you mean about the weather. As a missionary, I have had quite a few of those types of experiences. We will go outside excited that it looks nice, and then while we are working it turns ugly, but when we come back inside, it gets nice again. That is usually how it seems to work.
I wish that I could see the house all decorated and everything. There are some houses down the street from us that are all ready for Christmas, and they already have their lights on and everything. It is a little interesting in my opinion, but if that is what they want to do, I guess we just let them. I can just imagine Stein going nuts. It isn't too often that things change that dramatically around the house. On a funny note, I have started to see some schnauzers around town here and there, and it makes me think of Tux and Stein. It’s just kind of funny what reminds you of the past. I just hope that he is able to remember me after being gone for two years. Hopefully, he will recognize my smell.
It will be really nice to get some pictures from the Christmas Party. Those were always really fun to go to, and it will be fun to see everybody.
I can't believe that Rylee is in school now. Hopefully, she will be able to get all of her energy out there, so that she will be a little calmer the rest of the day. She is going to be a first grader next time I see her. Hopefully, I will be able to recognize her. It sounds like with another new baby on the way, that there will be some extensions to the Savage family.
It is good to hear that things are going well at Albertsons, or "Fresh Market". It is also good that the prices of everything have gone down a little bit as well. That may help keep the store from closing as it fights with Walmart. I don't really like Walmart, but being out here on a fixed budget, it is nice to be able to go to. I just wish that things were cheaper elsewhere.
I think that it will be nice to stay in one place for the Holidays as well. The next transfer will actually be the Wednesday between Christmas and New Years. I think that I will still be here for that though. Elder Lewis is probably going to be the one leaving at the end of the Transfer. We weren't able to attend the Church Thanksgiving party on Saturday. We had promised that we would help out some members with a move. Their kids are moving back into the house, and they brought an entire U-Haul full of stuff, and of course they let the missionaries carry all of the big heavy things. At least I got a good workout from it.
This past week for missionary work has been overall good. We had a great lesson with Jeremy, the one who said that he would be baptized. We were actually able to sit down and teach his wife about the Restoration, and Jeremy said that in his opinion it was either "We do this together, or we don't do this at all". That was a really cool lesson. Then, we also were able to visit a family who seemed to be going less-active, and hopefully they will be coming to church on Sunday.
Thanks for all that you guys have done for me. It has all been a very big help. Don't worry about the health thing, the Lord is here to protect me. Just keep me in your prayers if you would. It isn't fun being sick. Thanks for everything, and I Love You All. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Love,
Elder Savage
