Transfers Next Week
Monday, November 15, 2010
Dear Family,
It sounds like you are having some chilly weather. It has been nice for the past week, but from what we are told, it is going to start to get colder. I am not looking forward to it, but at least I don't have to deal with another full winter. I am excited for the Holidays. We already have an invitation to a Thanksgiving dinner, and one of our bishops has signed up to have us over for Christmas Eve. That will be cool.
Our investigators are doing well. Geneva is doing great. She is starting to feel the power of the Atonement in her life. The way she has told us some things, it is just really cool to see how this gospel is blessing her. I know that she will be able to overcome her trials and make it. She is a great lady! We even got her to come to Stake Conference yesterday, and that was up in Greenwood. It was like a 40 min drive away. We are also still working with the other people. We just need to work hard and pray faithfully.
We are just pushing along. The Lord’s hand is in this great work, and I know that he guides us every day. It is just up to us to be ready and willing to listen.
That is so exciting for Levi. I am very happy for him. Does he know what he is going to take yet? I told Annie in my letter that I sent her that I thought those were the classes I wanted to take. I wasn't sure if I wanted to take Math 1050 and Physics at the same time. I guess I will just tell you all now what I want and you can go off of that.
I want to take:
MATH 1050 (retake it to get a better grade)
ENGL 1010
UNIV 1000
BA 1010
The problem is that these only add up to 11 credit hours and I don't know what to do to get a full schedule.
I am also thinking about taking MUSC 1010 because I think that it might be fun. Please let me know if you think that it might be too much. If you don't think it would be, then sign me up for all four above and MUSC 1010. If you do, then let me know.
I wanted to take Physics 2010, but the book Annie gave me said that math 1060 was a prerequisite. So, I didn't think that I could take it.
I hope that Grandma loves her new sewing machine. I bet she will enjoy it.
Thanks for everything that you guys do for me. It is so greatly appreciated. I just don't know what I would do without you.
I will enjoy playing video games with Levi. I just don't want to be too consumed by it like I used to be. I will still have fun with them. I would also love to have a movie, especially “Harry Potter” marathon. That would be fun!
Everyone take care and have a good week. We are moving tomorrow, so I will let you know a little more about things next week. I love you all very much, and thanks for all that you do. I couldn't make it through all this without all of your help.
Love,
Elder Savage
