Here In Terre Haute

Dear Family,
It is good to hear that everything is doing well at home. It is really funny, and you aren't allowed to quote me when I get home, but I have begun to miss doing things like mowing lawns. It sometimes seems just like such a simple thing to do. Sure, it does take a lot of physical energy, but it doesn't take much mental energy. I sometimes want to do something that doesn't take too much thought.
It sounds like the Iron Man 2 movie is really good. That will be a cool one to see. It is interesting how you all really like the "Wheel of Time" books. I never thought that you would all like them so much in the future.
The weather here in Indiana has not been the best for a while. I have had to wear my suits because it has been so cool. I would much rather wear my tracting slacks around. Speaking of that. One of the packages came from Mr. Mac, and surprise, the colors don't match either of my suits, but I got a notice that my other package has arrived, so I am in great hopes that this next one matches. If it does, then I can use the others as tracting pants. I will just have to send you a letter later on tonight about what is in the package. Hopefully, it all works out.
Things have been the same for the most part around here as well. Nothing too exciting, but we did meet a great lady this past week. This week we talked to a women who's mother passed on a couple of months ago. She has also realized that she has a dire need to get back into religion, and find a church. It was amazing because we were led to her by a strange situation. We tried a former investigator, who it turns out has moved. The man who moved in said that we could stop by sometime, but when we came back we met his wife instead. Well surprise, she was actually the one that we needed to find. On the door step, we taught her and she started to get the shivers. She was really excited to learn. It ended with us giving her a Book of Mormon, and commitment to read and pray about it. She said she would, and we set up a return appointment for the next day. The next day’s visit was also amazing. She had read the first 10 chapters of 1 Nephi that night. She stayed up until 3 in the morning to do it. We taught her about the Restoration. She is extremely excited to learn. She has even mentioned how much she hopes that her family will accept it as well, and how much it will help them, and then told us that no other people who came to her door ever made her feel quite as we did. She told us that it is through those feelings that she knows it is good. I am so very excited for her.
I don't know if I have told you guys this yet or not, but I found some members here in the Wabash Ward who have relations in Cedar City. Their name is the Stucker's. They are related to Zac Stucker and his family. I just thought that it was a weird coincidence. Brother Stucker, out here, was also really good friends with one of the Cardon boys. It was weird to find out that he must have walked and driven by our house many times when he lived in Cedar City. It truly is a small world, isn't it?
Well, there isn't much else to tell. I have been trying to work hard. Sometimes life gets hard, and sometimes this work gets hard, but it is truly worth it. I have gained so much greater of an understanding of the Savior and his plan for me. Hopefully, I can continue to grow each day. I hope that you all will be able to survive the last bit of school you have left. The last couple of weeks were always the hardest for me as well. Just keep pushing hard, and as President Corey likes to tell us, "Sprint to the Finish". Thanks for everything, and keep me in your prayers. That is the greatest help that anyone can give me. I love you all very much.
Love,
Elder Savage
